HELIUM is a black and white naively animated slapstick from a wedding. It starts at the moment when a couple are about to take their first photo as newlyweds. With a series of absurd moments, the author takes an ironic look at wedding customs and stereotypes, but also meditates on damnation, salvation and the seven deadly sins.

When I watched my parent's wedding video tapes, I just knew that this is a perfect material for another movie. And then it was huge project with a lot of already-designed characters. And plot was completely different by telling about unreciprocated love.
In a final version of this movie I decided to show 7 stories based on 7 deadly sins. So now, there are lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride characters and - of course - the one couple, who stay clear, are out of the wedding.
Initially I was thinking about make all scenes just in one moving-camera shot. From left-to-right with 3 full-rotations inside the main location. So all characters could appear 3 times and all of their stories should be continue and finally end.
